Situated on the north coast, the Severin Sea Lodge is a large value hotel offering seafront Mombasa accommodation for your soothing beach trip to the Indian Ocean. The Severin lies only a few meters from the white sands of Bamburi Beach. There is a high concentration of beach accommodation in this part of the north coast; thus expect a crowded seashore experience compared to a more secluded beach location would provide like Galu Kinondo beach on the south coast of Mombasa. The hotel has 188 air-conditioned guest rooms located in the main building and dual story rondavels. Rooms are divided into two categories – Karibu Class Standard and Comfort Class which are slightly larger with more amenities.
There are also four varied suites, some that features elegant carved Lamu furnishings. Amenities in the standard rooms include double beds, bathroom and shower. These basic rooms are functional, but do not provide much extra. Standard rooms located in freestanding bungalows have the same amenities as those in the main-building, adding mini bar and balcony or patio.
