3 Days Private Kenya flying Safari to Sweetwaters, Ol Pejeta (Budget)

Transfer from your Nairobi hotel or residence to Wilson Airfield for the 50 minute Safarilink or Air Kenya flight to Nanyuki airfield. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Sweetwaters camp (30 minute drive) arriving in time for lunch. Our accommodations are at Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp. Both Sweetwaters land, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and its sumptuous ranch were once the private domain of famed multi-millionaire, Adnan Kashoggi. We visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens!

In fact Sweetwaters boasts excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. Moreover, the camp has its own private waterhole and saltlick so we’ll be guaranteed unprecedented close encounters. Whether its day or night game drives, camel trekking, lion tracking, al fresco dining or relaxing by pool, Sweetwaters is bound to delight.

A full day at Sweetwaters with morning walk followed by bush breakfast, lunch at the camp and afternoon game drive. Our two-night stay here provides ample time to explore surrounding game reserves. Game drives at Sweetwaters are indeed a pleasure. Game viewing may also take the form of game walks accompanied by our Resident Naturalist and game rides on horseback. Camel riding, night game drives and “bush” lunches or dinners are a delight.

The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is incorporated within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and is the only place in Kenya where this highly endangered and remarkably intelligent species can be seen.
